- appreciate the impact of myths in literature and art

ASSESSMENT

In the last session, students are expected to present a myth to their colleagues. The evaluation will be done with a rubric. This rubric may be delivered to the class in the seconde session. This way, the students will know what will be evaluated.

SESSION 2 Meet the myths

Make a group of 2 people and chose a myth from the list we offer you. Then, search in the website we propose the answer to these questions. Use the tool WORDLINK to help you while reading. After that, you will have to make an oral presentation and explain to your classmates the myth you have chosen. In this powerpoint you cannot use words, therefore, you will need to search in the website images that match what you want to say.

SESSION 3 Meet the myths: preparing oral presentations

We are going to see a video which gives you keys to perform a good presentation. Write down at least three pieces of advice you have learnt.

 

Now you are going to read some tips that will help you to make a good presentation but, careful, some of them are false. Can you identify which ones?

T   F  Try to adjust what you have to say to the time you have.  

T   F   Do not reharse, be spontaneous.

T   F   Use informal language.

T   F   Write out the whole presentation in the slides and read it.

T   F   Look in the eye to the audience, they will pay more attention to what you have to say.

T   F   Speak clearly and loud.

T   F   If you don't find a word, try to find other way to say what you want.
