Qualities of sound

When it comes to sound waves, there are three characteristics that are important: loudness, pitch and quality. When it comes to loudness, loudness is for wave's amplitude so wave like this is not very loud when it comes to sound, sound waves. And a reminder: sound waves aren't actually transverse waves, they are long to the ways they look like this with a wave is spread apart called a rarefaction or close together called a compression but because this is difficult to draw we use the transverse wave to represent the sound. Pure tones are very simple sound our ears and our brain like more complex sounds so like take a group of waves of different tones and put them together.
