DIAN FOSSEY

Dian Fossey is a zoologist from California. She travelled to Africa to take care of the gorillas. She knew their characteristics and she has a relationship of trust and affection with them. There she faced the activity of hunters who want to destroy the life of gorillas. They wanted to captures the animals.

She created a foundation to protect the life of the gorillas and she wrote a book. In the book she tells her story and the story of the gorillas. The name of the book is "Gorillas in the Mist".

She fights to protect the life of all the animals: sharks, crocodiles, cats, dogs, lizards, bees, whales, frogs, octopuses, flamingos, fishes, bears, rabbits, mousses and gorillas.

She knows the characteristics of the animals. They can be carnivore, herbivore or omnivore. They have wings, tail or scales and they can fly, run or swim.

She wants to protect the rights of the animals. With her book "Gorillas in the Mist" her story is known around the world today.
